August Action: Molinaro Hosts 'Broome County's Next Chapter' Listening Session With Local Officials, Stakeholders & Fortune 500 Companies

Binghamton, NY – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) hosted a listening session with local elected leaders, business owners, stakeholders, and representatives from Fortune 500 Companies at Rapid Deployable Systems in Binghamton as part of his 'Broome's Next Chapter' initiative. During the listening session, panelists discussed priorities major employers look for when investing in a community, such as location, access to transportation, relationships with local businesses, and educational facilities to implement workforce development programs. At the event, Rep. Molinaro was joined by representatives from Lockheed Martin, Micron, BAE Systems, Broome County's Executive Office, President of the Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, and President of Universal Instruments in Conklin. Rep. Molinaro led the discussion and took questions from local business owners, officials, and stakeholders during the panel. Participants offered insight on efforts Broome County can undertake to attract employers, support and accelerate sustainable commercial, manufacturing, agricultural and housing development. This event builds on his 'Broome's Next Chapter' initiative to unite community leaders from the public and private sectors to forge a new path of prosperity for Broome County. Rep.
