Rep. Molinaro Announces $3.6 Million in Federal Funding for Early Education Programming in Sullivan County

Liberty, NY – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) today announced Sullivan County Head Start has received $3,653,923 in federal funding.

These funds are available through the Head Start and Early Head Start programs, and administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). They will be used to support Sullivan County Head Start’s program, which provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to children from low-income families. Rep. Molinaro is a strong supporter of Head Start and is requesting that it is robustly funded for Fiscal Year 2024.

Rep. Molinaro said, "I am proud to announce that Sullivan County Head Start will receive $3.6 million in federal funding. This funding will ensure more children in Sullivan County have access to high-quality early education. Working in local government, I have seen the value of Head Start firsthand. It’s why I’m now working in Congress to expand the program’s reach.”
