Molinaro’s August Action Event Will Allow Individuals of Every Ability & Every Age to Participate in Summer Field Games, Engage with Local Service Providers

Leeds, NY – As part of his August Action, U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) will host a Think DIFFERENTLY Field Day on Wednesday, August 16th from 11:00am to 2:00pm in Stockport. This builds on the Think DIFFERNETLY Field Days Rep. Molinaro hosted when he served as a County Executive.

At the event, individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities of all ages will be able to participate in summer games and activities, and engage with local service providers and community partners to learn about resources available to the disability community. All attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch and go home with a Congressional Certificate for participating in the day’s events.

Rep. Molinaro said, “The Think DIFFERENTLY Field Days are coming to New York’s 19^th Congressional District! I started these Field Days when I was County Executive and I’m excited to build off these events as part of my August Action Plan. We will have field games and activities. Local service providers will also be on hand to help families learn about the local resources available to the disability community.”

Later this month, Rep. Molinaro will host a second Think DIFFERENTLY Field Day on the western half of New York’s 19^th Congressional District. Details on that event will be announced in the coming weeks.
