Molinaro Calls For Resignation Of FEMA Administrator
Washington,
November 19, 2024
Washington, DC — U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) is calling for the resignation of FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell following his questioning of her during today’s House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee hearing: “My breaking point came today when FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell, couldn’t affirm under questioning that her agency puts Americans first. This is the same administrator who oversaw an agency that avoided helping Trump supporters and funneled taxpayer dollars through nonprofits to support illegal immigrants while Americans struggle. “We can’t wait for a Trump Administration. FEMA is demanding $100 billion more for disaster relief and with Criswell at the helm, I have zero confidence this money would go to the Americans who need it most. She needs to go.” |
