Hudson, NY – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) released the following statement on the passing of former Columbia County District Attorney Paul Czajka:

“Today, we mourn the passing of Paul Czajka, a man who devoted over four decades to Columbia County and its cherished legal system as a judge and district attorney. Paul never backed down from a fight—whether taking on powerful people, tough cases, or his courageous battle against cancer. His tenacity and integrity made a lasting impact on me and everyone who had the privilege to him and work alongside him.

“It was a privilege to serve with Paul. I will always be grateful for him and will miss him, but trust that his legacy will endure in the hearts and minds of those he served. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with Paul’s family and loved ones."
