Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) released the following statement calling for the resignation of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle:

"I withheld judgement on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle until Congress could hear from her directly. She admitted it was a mission failure, admitted the buck stops with her, has tried to deflect responsibility, and will not adequately explain what went wrong. She must step aside and allow new leadership at the Secret Service."
