Rep. Molinaro Delivers Over $1 Million in Federal Funds to Community Health Center In Cortland County

Binghamton, NY – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) today announced $1,150,104 is being delivered to the Family Health Network of Central New York Inc. for healthcare services. The Family Health Network of CNY is a federally qualified health center that provides affordable, comprehensive care to individuals and families in the Cortland County and the Central New York region.

The funding is available through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Rep. Molinaro has fought to expand health care services in rural and medically underserved areas and is also pushing for increased funding for the HHS. Most recently, Rep. Molinaro introduced the Health Care Workforce Innovation Act of 2024, a bipartisan bill that addresses the healthcare provider shortage at Community Health Care Centers like the Family Health Network of CNY.

Rep. Molinaro said, “Families in rural and medically underserved areas are facing difficult choices and daunting journeys to get the care they need. I’m proud to fight for community health centers and secure investments like these to ensure Cortland County residents have continued access to comprehensive care."
