Rep. Molinaro Announces Over $4 Million in Federal Funding to Upgrade Water System in Woodridge

Liberty, NY – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) today announced $4,436,500 is being delivered to the Village of Woodridge. 

The funding is available through the U.S Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). These funds will be used to make filtration and automation upgrades to the Village of Woodridge’s water system. It will also fund a new water storage tank for the village. 

Rep. Molinaro said, "I am proud to announce over $4 million in federal funding is going to the Village of Woodridge to make upgrades to its water system. Access to clean drinking water is not a luxury item – it should be available to everyone. These upgrades are going to protect drinking water in the village."

Joan Collins, Mayor of the Village of Woodridge said, “The Village of Woodridge is thrilled to receive a grant in the amount of $4,436,500.00 for expansion of and improvements to the Village water system. We are extremely grateful to Congressman Marc Molinaro, his staff and USDA Rural Development for their assistance and support.”
