Rep. Molinaro Announces Nearly $2 Million in Federal Funding to Study Mental Health Disorders & Deafness

 

Binghamton, NY – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) today announced $208,525 is being delivered to SUNY Binghamton for research on deafness and $1,476,000 is being delivered to Cornell University for research on mental health disorders.

The funding is available through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Rep. Molinaro is working to robustly fund the HHS and its research programs in Fiscal Year 2024.

Rep. Molinaro said, "I am proud to announce nearly $2 million in federal funding towards groundbreaking research at SUNY Binghamton and Cornell University. These investments for research on deafness and mental health will drive scientific progress and improve the lives of individuals affected by these challenges.”
